Deben Cherub ' Charity' - £POA
in 1932 and originally named ‘SnBuiltark’ after Lewis Carroll’s elusive imaginary creature, CC8 ‘Charity’, is the eighth Deben Cherub of the seventeen that were built, all here at Everson & Sons Boat Yard.
‘Charity’ has spent the last decade on the River Thames near Pangbourne without any time ashore or much attention and has suffered as a result. Her next custodian must appreciate that it will take considerable work to restore ‘Charity’ but with sufficient love and effort she can rejoin the growing fleet of Deben Cherubs and other pocket cruisers here in Woodbridge.
