Mooring

If you are looking for a mooring in Woodbridge then we have a good selection to choose from, all within easy access of the town and fully maintained by ourselves.

Thanks to our pontoons and slipway, dinghies can be used at all states of tide to access our swinging and fore-and-aft moorings. For those with smaller boats and yachts, wishing to avoid the hassle of a dinghy, our pontoons and jetty offer a convenient alternative.

Charged per foot per week, our moorings offer flexibility and an affordable way to enjoy the river.

PRICES

Effective from 1st April 2024: VAT exclusive:

Moorings:

• Drying: £0.85 ft / week

• Fore and aft Channel moorings: £1.00 ft / week

Pontoons:

• Dinghies up to 10 ft. (surcharge over 10ft of £10/ft) £220 per 6 months

• Dinghies up to 10 ft for yard customers (surcharge £8/ft) £130 per 6 months

• Small Craft alongside pontoon (12ft-18ft): Customers £1.35 ft / week

• Jetty Pontoon moorings 18ft – 29ft: Annual customers £1.35 ft / week

PACKAGES

• 12 month – Hardstanding only - £44.32 / ft

• 12 month – Lift in, Swinging, Drying Mooring, Lift out inc. scrub, Hardstanding

• £57.32 / ft

• 12 month – Lift in, Channel Mooring, Lift out inc. scrub, Hardstanding

Storing & Launching

Our secure 2.5 acre yard has fast-draining hardstanding throughout with access available to electricity and water.

For those without their own trailer or cradle, a selection of yacht cradles and motor boat chocks are available to hire. Masts can be stored indoors.

Our three cranes and selection of heavy trailers enable us to launch and recover boats up to 37ft LOA and 9t displacement. Small dinghies can be launched from our slipway.

• Undercover storage when available: Surcharge £0.65 ft / week

• Indoor storage when available: Surcharge £2.00 ft / week

• Cradle hire: Monthly £55 / Winter £200 / Annual £350

Lift out and place in yard including pressure wash:

• Dinghies up to 10ft moved without crane £45.00

• Up to 20 ft with crane £140.00

• 21 – 29 ft £7.00 per foot

• 30 ft and over £8.00 per foot

Lift in from yard:

• Up to 20 ft £125.00

• 21 - 29ft £6.00 per foot

• 30 ft and over £6.50 per foot

Lift on or off transport, Lift onto or off quayside £5.50 per foot

Mid Season “Quick lift” and pressure wash: £130.00 per boat

Mast Removal / Stepping: Labour and materials + £50 crane fee

Undercover spar storage: £50 per spar per 6 months

*Normal labour rate applies to removal/fitting sails, boom, electrics, rigging

Maintenance

The marine environment is a harsh place but if you look after your boat then it’ll look after you. Our team have a wealth of knowledge and are very happy to advise on the upkeep of boats in our yard and can carry out all of the inspections and services that you might need to keep your boat in tiptop condition. Whether you have a power, sailing, wooden or GRP boat we’re well equipped to help keep your boat in top condition.

Repair

Accidents happen but when they do they need not take your boat out of action for long.
