May 11, 2020

Based upon Sunday (10/05/2020) evening's briefing from the Prime Minister, our team, for whom it is not possible to work from home, will continue to work onsite at Woodbridge Boat Yard.

To maintain a safe working environment for our team, we will be continuing to maintain a 'closed site' policy.

Customers, the public and suppliers will only be allowed access by prior arrangement. For those for whom it is necessary to drive to the boat yard, we encourage you emphatically to not use the vehicular railway crossing unless absolutely necessary; the telephones are mandatory safety equipment but pose an infection risk so we do not want more people to touch them than absolutely necessary. Please use the public carpark adjacent.

As per the Royal Yachting Association advice, we believe boating, within household groups, to be included in the exercise and outdoor activities acceptable from Wednesday. This being the case, boat launching will resume imminently and in earnest as we are well aware of the eagerness felt by many to enjoy the river once more. Please be patient with us. Our backlog and waiting list is considerable and we will be launching as many boats as possible but, as ever, safety will be our primary concern and will dictate activities.

All aspects of this notice are under constant review.
