Blackwater Sloop ‘Vydra’- SOLD

Designed and built in Maldon, Essex, the Blackwater Sloop is a popular classic pocket-cruiser.

‘Vydra’, built in 1961, has the popular raised-topside layout and as a result benefits from comfortable sitting headroom and greater cabin space below and larger, more useable decks above.

‘Vydra’s Yanmar diesel engine has been stripped and rebuilt by Woodbridge Boat Yard in 2020 and is currently out of the boat. This could be refitted or she could, in the style of the fastest Blackwater Sloops, go engineless.

‘Vydra’ needs a little work to get her back to her best but will again be a charming little ship.
